Annie Katsura Rollins: I'm an interdisciplinary artist and researcher based in Toronto, Canada, most often working to activate places and communities through interactive art, performance, and heritage.
In September, I joined the team at MABELLEarts as their Newcomer Engagement Lead, where I run programming that harnesses the power of community arts to connect newcomers to their communities and create a sense of belonging.
I recently co-directed a short documentary with Yung Chang, entitled PANDEMIC19, which follows three doctors covering the pandemic in the US. Our film won the audience award and special jury mention at Hot Springs International Film Festival.
Yung Chang is a Chinese Canadian film director and was part of the collective member directors of Canadian film production firm EyeSteelFilm.
