The Creative High
Adriana Marchione's second documentary, THE CREATIVE HIGH, created in collaboration with Producer Dianne Griffin, features nine artists in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction who are transformed by creativity in their search for identity and freedom. Their stories reveal how art has been a ballast while confronting old addictive habits and finding a new “high” through a creative life. Bringing the viewers into the worlds of hip-hop, drag performance, punk music, and featuring artists who create dance, theater, and visual art, THE CREATIVE HIGH is a testament to the chaotic and passionate nature of creativity.

Strays
"STRAYS are comprised of Denton locals Ben Scott, (TERMINATOR 2) Spencer Jones (MINK COATS) and Ben Copeland (ABACABA, MOTHER TONGUES). The trio released two EP’s independently - Smoker (2017) and Ritual (2018) - before partnering with Triptych Records in 2019, releasing their debut full-length album TIME DEATH VOID DREAM April of that year. TIME DEATH VOID DREAM constructs a narrative imagining a conceptual alternate world in which Native Americans defeat invading colonizers with relentless brutality. Informed by the harsh tones, colors and especially characters of Cormac McCarthy’s novel Blood Meridian, the album undergoes chronological thematic and sonic changes following the protagonist’s journey through scenes of dark magic, horrible violence and out-of-body experiences. STRAYS remain a part of the ideological landscape and world shared by all people, and are eager to release new works in that spirit. The trio holds strong anti-police sentiments and seek to inject their music and listeners with a visceral experience of their own specific brand of genre, riffualistic stoned psych. STRAYS are continually developing both sonic and visual material progressively, New releases are forthcoming"
Takeover
TAKEOVER explores the twelve historic hours on July 14, 1970, in which fifty members of the Young Lords Party stormed the dilapidated Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx, drove out their administrative staff, barricaded entrances and windows, and made their cries for decent healthcare known to the world. Through archival footage, seamless reenactments, and modern-day interviews, we follow the Young Lords’ resistance against institutions curated by wealth and white supremacy, and their fight for the most basic of human rights: the right to accessible, quality healthcare.
