HOw to Fest

Thin Line Fest 2022 is a free festival that combines a curated selection of documentary films and an eclectic mix of music over five days every spring.
All events are LIVE, which means you must attend/watch at the scheduled start time. No programming is on-demand.
Whether you plan to attend in-person or virtually, you must register.

How to Fest Virtually

Once registered, login with your email address and you’ll have access to the Live Dashboard. This is where you will find all streaming programming March 23-27.
Remember that you must be logged in and watching at the correct time.
Every streaming channel will have an area to submit questions for the filmmaker following the screening.

How to Fest in-person

Once registered, pick up your Festival Badge at any festival venue during festival hours.
Not all venues are used all five days so please check the schedule.
If you purchased a Supporter or VIP Pass, you can only pickup your T-Shirt at Movie Tavern, Dan's Silverleaf, or Rubber Gloves. Once you've picked up your badge, you get full access to all in-person programming.

Additional film details

Nearly all films screen once online and once in-person; and every film will be immediately followed by a Q&A with one of the filmmakers.
Short films are grouped together into a single screening. Start times indicated in the program are for the event and not necessarily the specific short film. Attendees are expected to watch the full screening event.
VIP pass holders get access to theaters first. Once VIP passholders are sat, seating is open to General Admission attendees. All seating is first come, first serve. There are no COVID restrictions in place at the Movie Tavern Denton.
