This short outtake from a full-length documentary currently in production focuses on the coastal towns of Port Aransas and Rockport left in ruins by Hurricane Harvey. Hear the different perspectives of two people as they see the disaster’s aftermath — one, the director’s mother who lived in Port Aransas in the 70’s and has a nostalgic need to see restoration and secondly, her partner, a newcomer to the Coast, who observes the inequality in the way the loss has been ignored.
