Meet Anna Le, an aquatic ecologist and environmental educator. Anna has spent years welcoming students, families, community members, and beginners in the outdoors to connect with our outdoor spaces, and each other. BEYOND THE SCOPE is a film amplifying Anna’s story and conveying her contagious love for conservation and her deep desire to cultivate a more inclusive outdoors for all.

Dumped and alone at a city park, Honk spends his days dodging cars, begging for food and looking for friends. When Cheryl and Honk's path cross unexpectedly, what follows is a story in which fairy tales are made. During an unprecedented time of lock downs and social distancing, this unlikely pair turn to each other for companionship. After Cheryl shares videos of their unusual friendship on social media, Honk becomes an overnight sensation resultling in people all over the world becoming invested in his well-being. Cheryl learns why Honk is alone and the two embark on an uncertain journey together.

The Cannons
THE CANNONS is a documentary feature film following the lives of two Black teenage hockey players and one legendary coach, in one of America’s toughest neighbourhoods: Southeast, Washington DC. Part coming of age story, part social-political commentary on the Black American experience, the film chronicles the Fort Dupont Cannons, one of America's only predominately Black hockey teams, as they must overcome the challenges of life on and off the ice.
